Where do I find the screenshot captured as evidence?

Quick answer

Open the finding, click the Evidence tab, and scroll to the Screenshot block at the bottom. It is an image captured by the scan's browser during exploitation. Findings that were not proven in the browser may not have one.

Steps

  1. Click Issues in the sidebar, then click the finding's row. Or open it from a scan's Findings tab.
  2. Click the Evidence tab.
  3. Scroll past HTTP request, HTTP response and Reproduction steps.
  4. Find Screenshot at the end of the tab.
  5. Right-click the image to save it, if you want a copy for a ticket or report.

Good to know

The scan takes this image with a real browser while an exploitation agent works on the live target. It shows what a person would see on screen at that moment, which helps when you need to explain a finding to someone who does not read raw requests.

Not every finding has one. The exploitation phase captures a screenshot where it is relevant, and a scan with the exploitation phase switched off produces none. A finding that came from code analysis alone has no browser session to photograph.

If you seeIt usually means
A screenshotThe browser reached the live target and captured the result.
No Screenshot blockThe proof did not need one, or exploitation did not run for this finding.

When the block is missing and you expected it, read why a finding has no screenshot. The request and response blocks still give you written proof.

The image belongs to the finding, so it is there whenever you reopen it.
