Getting started
Where do I find the built-in documentation and step-by-step walkthrough?
Documentation sits in the sidebar. It is one long page with an On this page list: Overview, How a scan works, Models, Findings, Transparency, Using Cyberlop step by step, Scan agents and CI/CD. API endpoints live on the separate API Reference page.
Steps
- Look at the sidebar on the left of any page.
- Choose Documentation. The guide opens as one long page.
- Use the On this page list on the right to jump to a section.
- Choose Using Cyberlop: step by step for the walkthrough. It has seven numbered steps, and each one has a Do this callout and a small screenshot.
Good to know
The page is split into these sections:
| Section | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Overview | What Cyberlop is and what a scan needs |
| How a scan works | The five phases |
| Models used | Which AI model each phase uses, and how to change it |
| Findings & accuracy | How duplicates merge and how issues change across scans |
| Transparency & privacy | How code and data are handled |
| Using Cyberlop: step by step | Sign-in to report |
| Scan agents | Running scans inside your own network |
| CI/CD & automation | Triggering scans from a pipeline |
The Documentation page links on to the Security & Data Handling and Privacy Policy pages. It also links to API Reference, which lists every endpoint and the permission it needs.
You can also read the same material outside the app. The getting started tutorial follows the same path, and the five phases have their own article.
This is a long page, so the anchor list saves time. If you only need to know what a scan will do to your app, read How a scan works, which takes a few minutes, and then go straight to the walkthrough when you are ready to try it yourself.
