Getting started

What is each item in the sidebar menu for?

Quick answer

The sidebar groups the app into what you test (Targets, Scan Profiles, Groups, Scheduled Scans), what you get (Issues, Recent Scans, Activity), and setup (Tags, Integrations, Documentation, API Reference, My Account, Settings). Administration shows for admins only.

The short version

Fifteen items fill the menu. Think of them in four groups: set up what to test, run it, read the results, and manage the account.

How it works in Cyberlop

ItemWhat it is for
DashboardSecurity posture across all targets
TargetsThe applications you test
Scan ProfilesReusable scan set-ups
GroupsSets of profiles, picked by hand or by tag
Scheduled ScansOnce-off or repeating runs of a profile
IssuesEvery finding across all scans
Recent ScansEach scan run and its result
ActivityAn audit-style feed of actions
TagsA shared list of labels for profiles
IntegrationsCI snippets and the cloud key vault form
DocumentationThe in-app guide
API ReferenceEndpoints and the permission each one needs
My AccountYour own notifications, Git token and AI credential
AdministrationAdmins only
SettingsOrganisation, plan, AI, Git, notifications, scan agents, SSO and two-factor

At the bottom, the footer holds Privacy and Security links. Up in the header you will find the workspace name, your role, the theme toggle and Sign out.

What to do next

You do not need every page on day one. A small team can work for weeks with only Targets, Scan Profiles, Recent Scans and Issues, then add Schedules, Integrations and the API when the routine settles.
