Running scans

What can I see on a scan while it's still running?

Quick answer

While a scan runs, its page shows the run status, the current phase, per-agent progress and live cost, token and lines-of-code counters. The sitemap and findings tabs fill in as they are found. The raw workflow log is not shown to you. You can leave the page safely.

The short version

Open the running scan from Recent Scans. According to the in-app Documentation, the page shows how far the scan has got while it works. Layout details can differ, so treat the page itself as the final word.

How it works in Cyberlop

The scan detail page for a running scan shows:

  • The run status and the current phase of the five-phase pipeline, so you know whether it is still mapping the app or already proving issues.
  • Progress for each agent.
  • Live counters for cost, tokens and lines of code.
  • A Sitemap tab that fills in as recon discovers endpoints.
  • A Findings tab that lists issues as they are found.

Press Refresh in the page header to update the view. The run itself does not depend on your browser, so you can leave the page, work on something else and come back when you like. It will not stop.

What you will not see is the raw, low-level workflow log. That is reserved for the platform administrator. Read why the raw workflow log is hidden for the detail.

What to do next

  • Go to Recent Scans and click the row of the scan in progress.
  • Click Refresh if the numbers look stale.
  • Open the Findings tab to read early results while the scan continues, and click any row to see its evidence.
  • Use Cancel only if you want to stop the run. See how to cancel a running scan.
