Click the Refresh button at the top of the scan detail page. It syncs the scan's status from the workflow, so the badge, counters and tabs show where the run stands now. Through the API, the matching call is POST /api/scans/:id/refresh.
Steps
The page does not claim to update itself, so refresh when you want the newest picture.
- Open the scan. Go to Recent Scans and click the row.
- Find Refresh. It sits at the top right, next to Download report.
- Click ⟳ Refresh. The status syncs from the workflow.
- Read the badges. Check the status and trigger badges.
- Check the tabs. The counts on Findings and Sitemap update.
Good to know
The API reference lists POST /api/scans/:id/refresh as Sync scan status from the workflow. It needs the scan:run permission. If the button is missing or fails, ask an admin to check that permission.
Refresh is useful when a scan has just finished and the badge still shows it as running. It also helps when a long run is quiet and you want to see the cost and tokens move.
A scan ends as Completed, Failed or Cancelled. A failed scan can still hold the findings found before it stopped.
When to refresh
Use it after a long wait, after you start a scan, or when a badge looks old. The counts on the Findings and Sitemap tabs move as the sync brings in new results. If the status never changes after several refreshes, write to /contact with the scan ID from the address bar.
The button belongs to the scan, not to the whole app, so it only updates the run you are viewing. Other rows in Recent Scans update when you open them or reload the list. Short and simple.
