Open the closed finding, set Disposition to Open (reopen), and click Update status. To find it first, use the triage chips on the Issues page. A fixed issue that a later scan detects again also comes back by itself, flagged as a Regression.
Steps
- Click Issues in the sidebar.
- Find the closed finding. Use the triage chips, switch the first chip to Showing only, and select Fixed, False Positive or Accepted Risk.
- Click the row to open the dialog. The current disposition shows at the top.
- Set Disposition to Open (reopen).
- Add a note saying why it is open again. Then click Update status.
Good to know
Reopening changes the disposition and nothing else. Your team can see the history at any time. The Activity feed logs the change as a Triage · Issue entry, so there is a record of who reopened it and when.
Sometimes you do not have to act at all. Dispositions are respected across scans, but a fixed issue that a later scan detects again is flagged as a Regression. That needs attention, and it appears in the list with its own triage chip.
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| You closed a finding too early | Set the disposition to Open (reopen). |
| A scan found a fixed issue again | Look for the Regression chip and investigate. |
| You cannot see the finding | Check which triage chips are hiding it. |
The chip row has two modes. Hiding hides the selected states, and Showing only shows just those. Read how the triage chip mode works if the list looks wrong, and how to find regressions for returning issues.
