Why don't I see Administration in my sidebar?

Quick answer

Administration is an admin-only page, so it does not appear for other roles. Check the role badge in the header. If you need access, ask an admin in your organisation to change your role. Cyberlop can help if nobody in your organisation can.

Why this happens

Cyberlop hides Administration from people who are not admins. The sidebar adapts to your role, so a Developer sees fewer items than a SuperAdmin. Nothing is broken when the item is missing, and you have not lost access to anything that was yours before.

Administration is where admins handle users, roles, teams and API tokens. Those screens are not described in the public documentation, so this article does not cover them.

How to fix it

  1. Open any page and read the role badge next to your email in the header.
  2. Scroll the whole sidebar. Administration sits between My Account and Settings when you have it.
  3. If you need to invite users, create roles or get an API token, ask an admin in your organisation. They can change your role or do the task for you.

Still not working?

If nobody in your organisation can grant the role, contact us with your workspace name and the task you need to do.

Many people look for Administration because they want to invite a colleague or get an API token for a pipeline. Both jobs belong to admins, so the quickest route is a short message to yours, naming the exact task and the role you think you need.
