Targets & repositories

How do I see a target's repository, branch and environment?

Quick answer

Open Targets and click the target's row. The Target details card shows its Name, Main URL, Backend URLs, Repository, Branch, Environment and Team. A white-box target also shows its repository address under the name at the top of the page.

Everything you set when you created a target sits on one page, so there is no menu to open and no tab to switch to. It is the quickest way to check which code a scan will read.

Steps

  1. Click Targets in the sidebar.
  2. Click the row of the target. Search first if the list is long.
  3. Study the Target details card. It lists Name, Main URL, Backend URLs, Repository, Branch, Environment and Team.
  4. Read the note under the card. On a white-box target it says "Scans clone the latest from this repository at launch."

Good to know

The page changes a little by scan type, so the card will not always look the same.

Target typeWhat you see
White-boxThe repository address as a subtitle, plus the Repository and Branch rows. No Ownership verification card.
Black-boxThe text "No repository configured", a dash for Repository, and an Ownership verification card.

Below the details sits the list of scan profiles for that target, with Edit and ▷ Scan beside each one. Team shows a dash when you left it blank. These values are read-only, since a target has no edit option, so if something is wrong you will need to delete the target and create it again. See how to change a target for the steps. Lost? Use /contact.
