How do I see when my scan agent last checked in?

Quick answer

Open Settings, choose Scan Agents and read the Last seen column next to your agent's name and status. It shows when the agent last reached Cyberlop. A stale value, with an offline status, means the agent has gone quiet.

Steps

Each row in the table has a name, a status and a last seen value.

STEPS

Good to know

The agent phones home on an outbound long-poll, asking for queued jobs. Each contact updates what you see. A fresh time with online means all is well.

Use the column to decide what to do next. A recent time and an offline status is odd, so reload the tab and wait a moment. An old time with an offline status points at the host, the container or the network.

The page does not say how often the agent contacts Cyberlop, so judge staleness by comparing across agents and across days rather than by a fixed number.

Do you need the same data in a script? GET /api/agents returns the list of agents with live status, and needs the profile:read permission.

Read how to see whether an agent is online for the status side of the picture. If the last seen time never moves after a restart, tell us on the contact page.

Keep the host healthy. A quiet agent is usually a sleeping machine or a closed firewall port, and both are quick to fix once you know where to look.

Make this a weekly glance if internal scans matter to you. Agents are quiet by design, and the first sign of a broken one is often a scan that never started, so spotting a stale time early saves a long afternoon of guessing.
