How do I pick which AI model each tier uses?
Open Settings, choose AI Provider and scroll to AI Models. Pick a model in each of the three dropdowns: Deep analysis, Recon & exploitation and Lightweight tasks. Click Save models. Leave a tier on its default unless you need a specific model.
Steps
Each tier is a dropdown. It lists known models plus a Custom… option.
STEPSWhat each tier does
The app names each tier after the work it does.
| Dropdown | Used for |
|---|---|
| Deep analysis | Pre-recon and the eight vulnerability specialists |
| Recon & exploitation | Recon, exploitation and report assembly |
| Lightweight tasks | Structured extraction |
Good to know
Deep analysis is where finding quality is decided, so it runs on the largest model by default. Recon and exploitation do high-volume tool use and browser work. Lightweight tasks are not on the critical path today.
The credential you saved on the same tab applies to every tier.
Premium models only pay off with an API key. A subscription token can be throttled, so a scan covers less of the code and the results will not beat the defaults. Read API key or OAuth token before you change a tier.
Need a model that is not in the list? Use a custom model id. To undo a choice, see how to go back to the defaults.
Change one tier at a time. Then compare the next scan with an earlier one on the same target.
A sensible approach is to treat the defaults as your baseline and change a tier only when you have a reason you can name, such as a newer model that your provider has just released for your account. Measure, then decide.
