How do I use my organization's own AI provider key?
Open Settings, choose AI Provider, pick a provider type, paste your credential under Replace credential and click Save credential. Click Verify to test it. The status then reads that scans use your organisation's own AI key.
Steps
- Click Settings and open AI Provider. Its subtitle reads "Scan engine credential".
- In Provider type, choose an API key or an OAuth token for your AI provider.
- Paste the secret into Replace credential.
- Click Save credential.
- Click Verify to test it.
- Look at the status pill at the top. When it works, it reads "Scans use your organization's own AI key."
Good to know
Prefer an API key. When you pick the OAuth token option, an amber box warns that a subscription token is rate-limited and can be throttled part-way through a scan, so the agents cover less of the codebase. It adds that premium models only pay off with an API key.
The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again. Later, a blank field means "keep the current value". The credential goes to every scan worker.
| Control | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Provider type | Choose API key or OAuth token |
| Replace credential | Paste a new secret; leave blank to keep the stored one |
| Save credential | Store it, encrypted |
| Verify | Test that the credential works |
| Clear | Remove the stored credential |
Changing the credential needs settings:update. The Activity feed logs it as "Ai Provider · Organization", with the action and provider type but never the secret.
When the included allowance runs out, scans on Cyberlop AI pause until next month. Your own key lets scans carry on, and you can watch its cost in usage on your own key. Pick models with how to choose AI models. Prefer a personal credential for your own scans? See personal AI credentials.
