How do I hide fixed and false-positive findings from the Issues list?

Quick answer

On Issues, set the first triage chip to Hiding, then select the Fixed and False Positive chips. Selected statuses leave the table. Add Accepted Risk if you want those gone too. Switch the mode to Showing only to do the opposite.

The triage chip row controls which statuses appear in the table. In Hiding mode, every selected chip is removed from the list.

Steps

  1. Go to Issues.
  2. Look at the first chip in the triage row. If it reads Showing only, click it once so it reads Hiding.
  3. Click Fixed and False Positive to select them.
  4. Optionally click Accepted Risk as well.

Good to know

The result is a working list of what still needs a decision. Nothing gets deleted. The hidden findings are still on the target and still count for history.

HidingRemoved from the list
Showing onlyThe only rows shown

The mode chip is easy to misread. If your list suddenly looks too short or empty, look at it first. A selected Fixed chip in Showing only mode shows only fixed rows, which is the reverse of what you wanted.

The dashboard counts open and fixed issues separately, and the list can match that picture when the chips hide closed states. For the full logic, read how the Hiding and Showing only switch works.

To bring a hidden finding back into the list, deselect its chip. To bring a fixed finding back into play, reopen it from its dialog. See how to reopen a finding.

With the closed rows out of sight, the number of rows you see should be close to the number of open decisions waiting on your team, which makes the page a better daily to-do list. Check it each morning. Keep it short.
