What's the difference between the Issues page and a scan's Findings tab?

Quick answer

The Issues page shows findings across all your scans, with search, filters, triage chips and exports. A scan's Findings tab shows the findings tied to that single scan. Both open the same issue dialog, so triage you do in one place shows in the other.

The short version

Use Issues for the whole picture across your targets. Use a scan's Findings tab to review one run. Both lead to one dialog, so you only triage once.

How it works in Cyberlop

Findings persist per target and carry on across scans. This page is the rolling list of all of them, built up over every run you have made, while a scan's Findings tab is the slice that belongs to one run, next to the Overview, Sitemap and Diff tabs.

You see the same disposition, assignee and notes from either place. Save once and it holds everywhere.

What to do next

  • Right after a scan, open its Findings tab. It shows what that one run produced, and nothing else, which makes a first read quick and calm.
  • For weekly triage, work from Issues. Filter by target, then use the triage chips to hide what is already closed.
  • To see what changed between runs, open the scan's Diff tab. Our page on the Diff baseline explains it.

For a longer read, try the Issues list tutorial. It goes deeper on filters. If a row seems to be missing, read why findings go missing from Issues.
