How do I see the findings from one specific scan?
Go to Recent Scans, click the scan row to open its detail page, then choose the Findings tab. The tab name carries the count, such as Findings (43). Click any row to open the same finding dialog you get on Issues.
A scan's detail page lists the findings from that run. This differs from Issues, which spans all scans.
Steps
- Click Recent Scans in the sidebar.
- Click the row of the scan you want. The search box reads Search scans by target or profile....
- On the scan page, choose the Findings tab.
- Click a row to open the finding.
Good to know
The table shows Severity, Title, Class, Confidence, Triage and Location. Clicking a row opens the same dialog as on Issues, with disposition, assignee and notes.
White-box findings show a source file and line range as the location, plus an extra Endpoint line in the dialog.
A failed scan can still hold findings. A scan keeps what it found before it stopped, so open its Findings tab even if the page shows a red banner. See what to do with failed scans.
| You want | Go to |
|---|---|
| Findings from one run | Scan detail, Findings tab |
| Findings from all runs | Issues |
| What changed since last time | Scan detail, Diff tab |
| Endpoints the scan found | Scan detail, Sitemap tab |
Not sure which page to use? Read the difference between Issues and a scan's Findings tab. The tutorial on the scan page covers every tab.
This route is the best choice when you are reviewing one run, for example after a release, because the list matches that scan alone and not the full history of the target. Use Issues for the long view. Use this for one run.
