Scan profiles
Can I have more than one scan profile for the same target?
Yes. One target can have many scan profiles. Each profile is a separate saved setup, so you can keep a quick check and a full audit side by side. The target page lists all of them under Scan profiles. The number you can add depends on your plan.
The short version
Yes. A scan profile belongs to one target, but that target does not have to stop at one profile. The Scan profiles card on the target page is a table, and it has a + New profile button so you can keep adding rows.
How it works in Cyberlop
Every profile is a full configuration of its own, with its own name, tags, vulnerability classes, exploitation setting, scan location, rules, login roles and report filters. Edit one profile and the others stay exactly as they were.
On the target page, a table shows every profile with the columns Name, Vuln classes, Exploit and Auth roles. Each row has Edit and Scan. Over in the sidebar, the Scan Profiles page lists the profiles of all your targets together, with the target named in its own column.
| Profile | Possible use |
|---|---|
| Quick check | A few classes, no login role |
| Full audit | No classes ticked, so all of them, with exploitation on |
| Code-only pass | Exploitation phase off, so static analysis only |
| Signed-in run | One or more login roles added |
These names are only examples, and you are free to pick any labels that make sense to the people who will read the list every week. Name profiles in a way your team will recognise at a glance, and use tags if the list grows.
What to do next
Open the target and click + New profile, which preselects the target for you. If you start from the Scan Profiles page instead, you pick the target in the form.
Limits on targets and scans depend on your plan and show under Settings → Plan & usage. The capture does not show a cap on profiles, so if you expect to need a great many, ask us.
