How do I sign out of Cyberlop?

Quick answer

Sign out sits in the header at the top right, to the right of your email, role badge and theme toggle. The button is on every page. Do it whenever you use a shared computer.

Steps

  1. Open any page in Cyberlop.
  2. Look at the header at the top. From left to right it shows the workspace name, your email and role, the theme toggle and Sign out.
  3. Press Sign out.
  4. On a shared computer, close the browser tab afterwards.

Good to know

  • A running scan is durable, so you can safely leave the page. Check Recent Scans when you return.
  • Hand a laptop to someone else only after you sign out, because your account can start scans and change settings, and you may not be there to watch what happens.
  • The Security page says sessions use short-lived access tokens with rotating refresh tokens, held in HttpOnly, Secure cookies.

Email notifications and saved tokens belong to your account, not your browser session. Signing out does not remove them. You can review them under My Account.

If Sign out is missing, refresh the page. If it is still not there, contact us.

It is a good habit, even on your own laptop. If you leave a session open in a shared office or a cafe, anyone who sits down at that machine can start scans or change settings with your permissions. That includes saved tokens and notification choices under My Account, so treat an open session like an unlocked phone.
