Team & access

Why can't I see other people's actions in the activity feed?

Quick answer

You see only your own actions in the activity feed unless your role gives a wider tier. Administrators see the whole organisation, and team leads see their team. Ask an admin to review your role or team if you need more.

Why this happens

Roles set the tier. The Security page lists three tiers: organisation-wide for administrators, team-scoped for leads, and own actions only for everyone else. The page subtitle says "Recent actions across your scope". Your scope can be small, and that is not a fault.

How to fix it

  1. Read the role badge next to your email in the header. It tells you which tier is likely.
  2. Clear the search box, which reads "Search by actor, action, or entity...". A leftover word there hides rows from view.
  3. If you are not an administrator or team lead, expect to see your own rows only.
  4. Need more? An admin can check your role and your team in Administration.
  5. Reload Activity after the change.

Permission keys named activity:read, activity:read_team and activity:read_all exist in the custom role example. Ask the admin to confirm which one fits what you need, because a wider view also means that you can read what colleagues did, and admins should grant that on purpose.

Keep the request specific. "I need to see my team's scan cancellations" is easier to grant than "give me more access".
