The API Reference lists DELETE /api/schedules/:id, which removes a schedule and needs the schedule:delete permission. Find the schedule ID with GET /api/schedules first. The schedule list in the app was empty when captured, so its delete control was not seen.
Steps
- Ask an admin to confirm that your role holds
schedule:delete. Reading and creating schedules use different permissions, so having those does not mean you can delete. - Get a personal API token. An admin issues it from Administration → Users.
- Fetch the list from
GET /api/schedules, adding the headerAuthorization: Bearer <your-token>. Pick out the schedule you want and copy its ID. - Call
DELETE /api/schedules/<schedule-id>with the same header. - Open Scheduled Scans in the app, or call the list route again, and check that the schedule has gone.
Good to know
| Route | What it does | Permission |
|---|---|---|
| GET /api/schedules | Lists scheduled scans | schedule:read |
| POST /api/schedules | Creates a schedule for a profile | schedule:create |
| PUT /api/schedules/:id | Updates a schedule | schedule:update |
| DELETE /api/schedules/:id | Deletes a schedule | schedule:delete |
Deleting a schedule removes the repeating run, but it leaves the scan profile it pointed at untouched, and scans that already ran stay in Recent Scans with all of their findings, so nothing you have learned is lost.
Do you only want a break? Switching a schedule off keeps it for later. See how to turn a schedule off without deleting it.
Removing a scan profile also removes the schedules that belong to it, which surprises people. The story is in why schedules vanish after a profile is deleted.
