What's in the PDF report?

Quick answer

The PDF is a branded executive report that shows the scan's details, an executive summary with the severity breakdown, and every finding that passes your profile's filters. A final reporting agent writes it from the confirmed findings once the scan ends.

The short version

This is the version you hand to someone who will not open the app. It suits managers, clients and auditors, and it carries your logo if you have set one.

How it works in Cyberlop

The in-app guide describes the report as three parts.

PartWhat it gives you
Scan detailsInformation about the run, such as the target and profile.
Executive summaryA short overview with the severity breakdown.
FindingsEvery finding that made it through the filters.

The last phase of a scan, Reporting, builds it. The agent that writes it assembles an executive-level report from the confirmed findings, and it applies the profile's minimum severity, its minimum confidence and any report guidance that you wrote before the scan began.

Report guidance is a free-text box in the Reporting section of the profile. Use it to steer how the report is written.

I have not seen a downloaded PDF, so page-by-page layout is not described here. Download one from a finished scan to see it.

What to do next

Only share reports with people who are allowed to see the findings. Questions about a report? contact us.
