What's the difference between the three report download options?
The Download report menu offers three modes. Open issues only lists findings that still need work. Include fixed & accepted adds the ones already closed. Fixed issues only lists just the fixed ones. All three give the same branded PDF layout.
The short version
One scan, one PDF, three ways to filter it. The mode decides which findings go in, and it does not change how the report looks, so you can send the same layout to a developer, a manager or a client.
How it works in Cyberlop
Open a scan and click Download report. The menu shows three choices.
| Mode | What the report holds | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Open issues only | Findings still open | A to-do list for developers |
| Include fixed & accepted | Open findings plus fixed and accepted-risk ones | A full record for an audit or a client |
| Fixed issues only | Findings that were fixed | Showing what a round of work achieved |
These groups come from triage. Each finding has a disposition of Open, Fixed, False Positive or Accepted Risk, and a re-scan that no longer finds an issue marks it Fixed. So the open and fixed lists can change after a new scan.
The profile's reporting filters still apply on top of the mode. A minimum severity of High, for example, keeps lower findings out whichever mode you pick. Read how minimum severity and confidence affect your report for that.
The same three modes exist in the API as mode=open, mode=all and mode=fixed-only.
What to do next
- Send Open issues only to the team that will fix things.
- Keep an Include fixed & accepted copy for records.
- After a re-scan, download Fixed issues only to show progress.
