How do I include fixed and accepted-risk issues in a report?

Quick answer

On the scan page, click Download report and choose Include fixed & accepted. The PDF then holds the open issues plus those you marked Fixed or Accepted Risk. It gives a full record, which suits an auditor or a customer who asks what was done about each item.

Steps

  1. Open Recent Scans and click the scan.
  2. Before you export, open each accepted-risk issue and write the reason in Notes, then click Update status to save it. A reader will ask why.
  3. Click Download report at the top of the scan page.
  4. Choose Include fixed & accepted.
  5. Open the PDF. Check that the fixed and accepted-risk items are there with the open ones.

Good to know

This mode tells the whole story: what is still open, what you fixed, and what you chose to live with. That helps in a review. The reader sees the decisions your team made, not just a list of problems, and can judge each choice.

FixedYes
Accepted RiskYes
  • False Positive is a separate state. The mode name mentions only fixed and accepted, so look in the PDF for false positives before you share it with anyone outside your team.
  • Dispositions carry across scans. A fixed issue stays fixed in later reports until it returns as a Regression, which is a signal to look again.
  • The profile's minimum severity and confidence still apply, so a low item may be absent by design. Check Reporting on the profile if a count looks short.

Want a to-do list instead? Use Open issues only. For proof of closure, use Fixed issues only. Our page on missing fixed issues helps when something is absent. See the PDF reports tutorial too, or contact us.
