Why doesn't my report include the issues we've fixed?
You probably picked the wrong mode. The Download report menu on the scan page has three: Open issues only, Include fixed & accepted, and Fixed issues only. Choose Include fixed & accepted to see fixed issues next to open ones.
Why this happens
A report is built in one of three modes. If you used a shortcut, such as the report icon on the targets list or Report in recent scans, you did not choose a mode. The scan page is where you choose.
The Download report menu offers three modes:
- Open issues only, for what still needs work.
- Include fixed & accepted, for the full picture.
- Fixed issues only, for proof of work done.
How to fix it
- Go to the scan page.
- Press Download report at the top right.
- Choose Include fixed & accepted. For a list of only what you closed, choose Fixed issues only.
- Check that the fixed issues appear in the PDF.
A re-scan marks an issue Fixed once it no longer finds it, and it stays in the report only when you pick a mode that includes fixed issues. If the issue comes back, it becomes a Regression. A fix you only noted by hand in the issue dialog uses the same status list.
Still not working?
- Try the scan's Diff tab. Its Fixed column lists what closed since the previous completed scan.
- Check the profile's Reporting section. Report filters such as Minimum severity and Minimum confidence can shorten a report.
- Check the issue's status on the Issues page.
