How do I schedule a recurring scan?

Quick answer

Open Scheduled Scans, click + New schedule, pick a scan profile, choose a frequency such as Weekly, and set the start date and time. Leave Enabled ticked and click Create schedule. The cadence repeats from that start, in your organisation's timezone.

Steps

  1. Click Scheduled Scans in the sidebar. A new workspace shows "No scheduled scans".
  2. Click + New schedule. The dialog says "Run a scan profile once or on a recurring cadence."
  3. Choose a profile in Scan profile. The picker is searchable, and the profile must already exist.
  4. Set Frequency. The default is Weekly.
  5. Enter the Start date & time. Later runs repeat from this moment.
  6. Keep Enabled ticked, then press Create schedule.

Good to know

FieldWhat to enter
Scan profileThe profile to run. Its target is fixed.
FrequencyDaily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly for a repeat; Once for a single run.
Start date & timeThe first run. The cadence is anchored to it.
EnabledTicked by default. Untick it to create the schedule switched off.

Times follow the timezone set under Settings → Organization, which is UTC until you change it, so check it first and a 02:00 start will not land at the wrong hour for your team.

Every run is a normal scan of that profile, so it counts against your plan limits and your AI allowance, both of which are shown in Settings → Plan & usage. Schedule as often as your team can realistically review the results, because a scan nobody reads does not reduce risk.

Only schedule scans of systems you own or are authorised to test. For tips on frequency, read which scheduling frequencies are available, or see the scheduling tutorial. Need anything else? contact us.
