Troubleshooting

Why won't a new scan start while others are already running?

Quick answer

Your plan sets how many scans can run at the same time. The limit is shown as Scans at once under Settings, Plan & usage. You can wait for a running scan to finish, cancel one you no longer need, or add an online scan agent, which raises the limit.

Why this happens

Every plan has a cap on scans running at once, and you can read yours under Settings → Plan & usage, on the line marked Scans at once. If that many scans are already running, this cap is the likely reason a new one will not start.

Two other limits sit on the same page: Scans this month and the Cyberlop AI allowance. When the included allowance is used, scans on Cyberlop AI pause until next month. We did not capture the exact message the app shows when the cap is hit, so use the checks below.

How to fix it

  1. Open Recent Scans and look for scans that are still running.
  2. Let one finish, since a finished scan frees its place for the next run.
  3. If a running scan is no longer needed, open it and cancel it. See how to cancel a running scan.
  4. Check Scans this month and the Cyberlop AI bar in Plan & usage.
  5. If you often hit the cap, add a scan agent under Settings → Scan agents. An online agent raises the concurrent scan limit, because it brings its own capacity.

Limits depend on your plan. To change the plan, contact your Cyberlop account manager.

Still not working?

  • Confirm that the agent shows online, not pending or offline.
  • Check that your plan includes internal scan agents. The feature chips in Plan & usage list what is included.
  • Send the details to /contact and include what Plan & usage shows.
