The target picker lists the targets in your workspace that your account can see. It looks empty when no target exists yet, when your search text filters everything out, or when your access does not cover any target. Add a target, clear the search, or ask an admin to widen your access.
Why this happens
A scan profile always belongs to one target, so Target is a required field on the new profile form. The picker offers only the targets that exist in your workspace and that your role can reach. Cyberlop scopes access by role and by groups of targets, so two colleagues can see different lists. A brand new workspace has no targets at all, and the picker then has nothing to show.
How to fix it
- Delete any text in Search targets.... The list shows each target name with its URL.
- Open Targets in the sidebar. If the list is empty there too, create one with + New target.
- Open the target, go to its Scan profiles card and click + New profile. This preselects the target for you.
- Look at the role badge in the header. If you see some targets but not the one you want, your access may cover only certain groups of targets.
- Ask a workspace admin to check your role and group access, then reload the form.
The form says this about the field: the target this profile belongs to. After you save the profile, the target stays locked for good. See why the target is read-only on an existing profile.
Still not working?
Make sure you are in the workspace you expect, because each workspace has its own targets. Read how to tell which workspace you are in and why a colleague sees targets you do not. If the list is still empty after an admin confirms your access, send us the page name and what you see through the contact page.
