Open Scan Profiles and look at the Tags row above the table. Each chip is a tag used on your profiles. Click a chip, such as prod, and the table shows only the profiles that carry it. Add tags in the profile form.
Steps
- Click Scan Profiles in the sidebar.
- Look for the row labelled Tags, just above the table. It lists the tags in use as chips, for example "prod".
- Click the chip for the tag you want.
- Read the table. It now lists only profiles that carry that tag.
- To see every profile again, remove the filter. If the chip does not toggle off, reload the page.
Good to know
Use the tag filter together with the search box if the list is long, for example by clicking prod and then typing part of a target name. Search narrows by text, and the chip narrows by label.
A tag appears as a chip once a profile uses it. To add one, open the profile with the pencil icon, go to Scope, click the Tags field, type a name and press Enter, then click Save. Tags are optional labels for grouping and filtering.
The Tags page in the sidebar is a separate registry with an Add tag form. In our capture, a tag used on a profile did not show up there, so profile tags and the registry may not match. The profile list filter works from the tags on your profiles.
| Where | What tags do there |
|---|---|
| Scan Profiles | Filter chips for the table |
| Profile form, Scope | Add a tag and press Enter |
| Groups | Add all profiles with a tag to a group |
Tags also drive groups. Read how to group profiles by tag for that.
