How do I download a report from the Recent Scans list?
Open Recent Scans and find the scan. In the Actions column, the Report link downloads that scan's PDF straight away. The link appears only on completed scans. For a different mode, such as open issues only, open the scan and use Download report instead.
Steps
- Click Recent Scans in the sidebar.
- Find your scan. The search box reads "Search scans by target or profile...", and the list shows the newest first.
- Look at the Result column. A green Completed badge means a report is on offer.
- Click Report in the Actions column. Avoid clicking the row itself, because that opens the scan page instead. Fine if you want it, though.
- Save the PDF from your browser.
Good to know
That link reads "Download the report (PDF)". It always gives the default report for that scan, so if you need a narrower or wider report than that, go through the scan page and pick a mode there.
| Route | Best for |
|---|---|
| Report in Recent Scans | A quick PDF of one scan |
| Download report on the scan page | Choosing a mode |
| Document icon on Targets | The latest report for a target |
- The Actions column also holds Scan, which re-runs the same profile, and a red bin that deletes the scan. Take care not to click the wrong one.
- Failed and cancelled scans show only Scan and the bin, with no Report link, since only a completed run produces one.
- Deleting a scan keeps the target's findings, but you lose that scan's report link.
