Targets & repositories

Why does Plan & usage say targets added this month are "also limited"?

Quick answer

Plan & usage shows two caps on targets. One is the total number of targets your plan allows, and the other is how many new targets you can add in a month. The line "added this month (also limited)" refers to the second cap.

Why this happens

Under Settings → Plan & usage, the Targets row shows a count against a limit, with a bar. Beneath it you may see a line such as "2 added this month (also limited)". That line means two things have a cap. One is how many targets you hold in total, and the other is how many you create in a single month. You can sit under the total and still hit the monthly cap, for example if you add several targets in the first week of the month and then need one more before usage resets.

How to fix it

  1. Open Settings. Click Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Choose Plan & usage. Pick the second tab in the left-hand list, Plan & usage.
  3. Read the Targets row. Compare the count with the limit, then read the line about targets added this month.
  4. Check the reset date. The plan card shows when usage resets. You can add targets again after that date.
  5. Ask about a higher limit. Limits depend on your plan. To change your plan, contact your Cyberlop account manager or use /contact.

Still not working?

The page shows your own numbers, so trust it over any figure you may have seen elsewhere. Plan details are on the pricing page.

Fixing a mistake means creating a new target, which counts as an addition. Check the limit first, since a mistake can cost you a slot. Fixing a wrong environment is one example.
