A chat notification posts when a scan finishes. It contains the target name, the finding counts and a link to the scan. It never includes the findings themselves, and it only covers your own organisation's scans. You set it up with a webhook URL under Settings → Notifications.
The short version
The message is short and says a scan has finished. It names the target, gives the finding counts and links to the scan. That is all. It is built to be safe to drop into a busy channel, where many people can read it and the message should say nothing sensitive. It never includes the findings themselves.
How it works in Cyberlop
You set this up under Settings → Notifications by pasting an HTTPS incoming-webhook URL from your chat tool. After that, each finished scan posts one message.
| Part of the message | Included? |
|---|---|
| Target name | Yes |
| Finding counts | Yes |
| Link to the scan | Yes |
| Finding details, evidence or code | No |
Only your organisation's scans reach the webhook. Nobody else's do. Cyberlop encrypts the URL and never shows it again after you save it.
The message works as a pointer. To read a finding, click the link and sign in to Cyberlop. That keeps vulnerability details out of a channel that many people can read, so a wide chat room does not widen who sees your findings. Access in Cyberlop still follows each person's role.
What to do next
Use Send test message after saving to see what your channel receives. The test button stays disabled until a webhook is set. If you want the detail in your inbox as well, switch on the email alerts on the My Account page.
Next steps: connect a chat webhook and send a test message. Personal email alerts are a separate feature, covered in email notification types.
