My chat notification doesn't list the findings. Is something broken?
Nothing is broken. When a scan finishes, Cyberlop posts only the target name, the finding counts and a link to the scan. It never posts the findings themselves, so sensitive details stay out of your chat tool. Open the link to read them in Cyberlop.
Why this happens
Chat channels reach many people, and messages stay in history for a long time. A finding holds a request, a response and sometimes a screenshot of a real weakness. Cyberlop keeps that out of chat by design. The Notifications page says it posts the target name, finding counts and a link to the scan, never the findings themselves.
Only your own organisation's scans go to your webhook.
How to fix it
- Read the counts in the message. They tell you whether the scan found anything and how severe it was.
- Click the link to the scan. Sign in if Cyberlop asks.
- Open the Findings tab to read each finding, or use Issues for findings across all scans.
- To check the webhook itself, open Settings → Notifications and click Send test message. The button stays off until a webhook URL is saved.
Still not working?
If no message arrives at all, the status line may read "No webhook — notifications are off." Paste an HTTPS incoming-webhook URL from your chat tool and click Save webhook. Cyberlop stores the URL encrypted and never shows it again.
Personal email alerts work on their own track. Each person sets them under My Account. Read what the chat message contains and how to connect a chat webhook, or write to us. The glossary explains a webhook.
