You can get two emails. One arrives when a scan you started finishes, and a second arrives when a scan finds critical or high issues, covering your own scans, or all scans if you are a SuperAdmin. Switch each on or off under My Account.
The short version
Cyberlop sends two kinds of email about scans. One tells you a scan you started has finished. The other warns you when a scan finds critical or high issues. Both are switches on your own My Account page.
How it works in Cyberlop
Open My Account from the sidebar. The Email notifications card has two checkboxes. Mail goes to the address on your account, which the card states under the boxes.
| Checkbox | When you get the email |
|---|---|
| When a scan I started finishes | Each time a scan you launched ends |
| When a scan finds critical or high issues | A scan of yours finds issues at those severities. SuperAdmins get this for all scans |
Both boxes appear ticked in the screenshot. The settings belong to you alone, so a teammate's choice never changes yours. Alerts for scans that someone else started reach you only if you are a SuperAdmin, and then they cover every scan in the organisation.
These emails are separate from the chat message under Settings → Notifications, which covers the whole organisation.
What to do next
Untick a box to stop that email. Tick it again to bring it back. If mail does not arrive, check your spam folder and read why you are not getting scan emails.
To change the settings step by step, see how to turn email notifications on or off. For team-wide alerts, look at connecting a chat webhook.
