How do I turn email notifications on or off?

Quick answer

Open My Account and use the Email notifications card. Tick or untick When a scan I started finishes, and When a scan finds critical or high issues. Mail goes to the address on your account. Each person controls their own choices.

Steps

The page has three cards and no tabs. The email card comes first.

STEPS

What each box does

You get two kinds of mail.

BoxWhen you get an email
When a scan I started finishesA scan you launched ends
When a scan finds critical or high issuesA scan of yours turns up critical or high findings. SuperAdmins get this for all scans.

Good to know

Switch off the first one if you start many scans and the mail adds up. Keep the second one on if you want a prompt when something serious turns up.

The card shows no separate save button, so reload the page after a change to confirm that it stuck. If a box reverts, tell us on the contact page.

Settings here apply to you alone. They do not change what your teammates receive. Read the two email types for more on what each message means.

Do you want scan news in a shared channel instead? Connect a chat tool with the webhook steps. That route posts to your team, while email goes to one person.

Email is best for personal follow-up. A critical finding on a target you own should reach you quickly, even when you are not watching the app, and these two boxes are how you opt in or out of that. Choose what fits your working week, then leave it alone.
