Open Settings, choose the Organization tab, type the new name in Company name and click Save changes. You need the settings:update permission. The tab also holds retention, the timezone for schedules and the report logo.
Steps
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Pick Organization from the list of tabs on the left. It is the first one, and its subtitle reads "Branding & retention".
- Click into Company name and replace the text. An empty box shows the placeholder "My Organization".
- Click Save changes.
- Reload the page and check that the new name is still there.
Good to know
Saving settings needs the settings:update permission. Viewing them needs only settings:read. If you can open the tab but the save fails, ask an admin to change the name for you or to update your role.
The same form holds three other fields. One save button covers all of them. Type the name exactly as you want it, and check the other fields too, because a stray edit in one of them would go through with the same click.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Company name | Names your organisation |
| Retention (days) | How long data is kept |
| Timezone for schedules | The zone that recurring scans follow |
| Report logo (optional) | A base64 image that shows on reports |
The Security page says that retention is set in Settings, and that admins can delete scans, targets and data at any time.
Need help with a change that this form does not cover? Talk to your account manager or use the contact page. For the retention field, read how to change how long data is kept. The wider tour of this area is in account and organisation settings.
